2012 Convention Logo Contest!

Are you Artistic? Creative? Imaginative? Even if you're none of these things, you can still enter our contest to 'DESIGN THE LOGO' for the 2012 American Iris Society National Convention to be held in the Ontario, California area. Anyone from Region 15 can enter, and all entries become the property of Region 15. The winning design will possibly be used for pins, hats, t-shirts, bags, name tags and the convention booklet, among other items.

The theme is "CALIZONA GOLD." All entries will be judged by the members of the 2012 Convention Committee. The winning entry will receive a gift certificate valued at $50 from a hybridizer/garden of their choice. Entries must be postmarked by September 30, 2008 and sent to either Kathy Chilton, 14333 S. Stagecoach Rd., Tucson, AZ 85736; or Jill Bonino, 3110 Kirkham Drive, Glendale, CA 91206-1128, our Convention Chairs. Digital entries will be accepted in jpeg format. Put on those thinking caps and get into 'design mode'! Ideas for the logo could include both Arizona and California in some way since Region 15 is the host of the convention. Let those ideas soar! Participants can enter more than one design, but each design should be on a separate piece of paper. Please include your name, address, phone number and e-mail address if available on your entry.
